a little bit about Robin Wood
My commercial background is as a software developer but I've always had an interest in security and since around 2005 I've been slowly moving away from general software development and more into security related areas. As well as all the open source projects I work on I'm also involved in developing a number of commercial security products. I'm happy running pen-tests, specialising in web application and wifi testing, and I've also helped author and have delivered various security training courses.
I hold a GIAC GAWN gold certificate and GCIH silver. My gold paper was entitled "Programming wireless security" and took a developer through installing various tools to writing an application to automate the collection of a WPA 4 way handshake.
My other passions include climbing, gym sessions, orienteering and martial arts, especially kobudo where I recently got my first dan.
